Richard is an American photographer born in Germany during his dad’s U.S. Army service abroad. Richard is honored to be a military veteran and served during the Vietnam war with the U.S. Navy’s 7th Fleet headquartered in Yokosuka, Japan.
His active duty in the South China Seas led him to a job in civil service with the Naval Photographic Lab in Yokosuka. There he developed his creative skills working with film processing and color printing, advancing to Production Manager. After eight years overseas, he took the opportunity to manage photo labs in San Diego and Miami/Fort Lauderdale before accepting a teaching position at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
In 1983 Richard and his wife Nicole launched their commercial photography business. Today they collaborate with long-standing clients who appreciate his creative vision, his passion and attention to detail. With his dedicated team, he is focused on achieving the highest quality on each assignment.
Giving back to At Risk Youth and Animal Welfare is important to them. Richard is a loving dad to four sons, three grandsons, a few rescued dogs and cats! He enjoys golf and fishing the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean with family and friends.
Let's work together on your next project!
