Richard Hoch Photography

Nova Scotia - Canada

Richard is an American photographer born in Germany.  He was 18 when he joined the military with the US Navy's 7th Fleet headquartered in Yokosuka, Japan during the Vietnam War.

At the end of  his military service, he transferred to Civil Service at the Naval Photographic Center in Yokosuka. There he learned  film processing and color printing working  his way to Production Manager.

After years abroad, he returned to set up and manage photo labs in Fort Lauderdale/Miami and San Diego before accepting a teaching position at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.

In the 80's Richard and his wife Nicole opened their photography business. They were keen to start long-lasting relationships with clients who appreciate creative vision and attention to detail.  Client confidentiality is paramount especially with prototype product work. He credits his success to his years with the Navy and to his dedicated team,  striving to achieve the highest quality on every assignment.

Richard is a loving dad to four grown sons and lives with his wife, three loyal rescued dogs and a cat!  He's an ok golfer,  loves fishing and being near the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean with family and friends.
